I'm Katie, a UK-based concept artist.

I specialise in Concept Art and Illustration for Indie games, Stylised games, book illustration and general concept design.

 

I enjoy exploring everything from dark fantasy, medieval and horror to folklore and mythology,. Whether I'm designing creatures, characters, props, or environments, I love combining strong visual storytelling with immersive world design to bring ideas to life.

I have worked mostly in Digital art via Clip Paint Studio and Photoshop which I have very advanced knowledge in and have used for around 15 years now. 

I also have experience with 3D (Maya and Blender, mostly for blockout/perspective work) and  I spend a great deal of time creating traditional works. Also with passions for crochet, Lino print, Watercolours, Sewing and general DIY.

===ACHIEVEMENTS AND WORK===

In Jul 2019 I graduated in Concept Art at Teesside University with a First Class Honours. 

I've also done 3 years of Animation, Interactive Media and Games Design at Bedford College giving me a BTEC Extended Diploma and a HNC.

​

Since then I have been actively working as a freelance artist for one off projects, DND campaigns, Illustrations and for games such as King: Under The Mountain and Hush Blossom.

​

I have also created a large number of commission work for a variety of uses, mainly for DnD campaigns. I have also worked with various Youtubers and done numerous commission projects for The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages company.

My personal hobbies include; Video games, crafts (sewing, claymaking, calligraphy, DIY, etc), Horror films, Fantasy Novels and Anime/Animation. I also love hiking/walking and camping & nature in general I am an extreme travel enthusist and have solo travelled to many places like Greece, Morocco, The Azores and lived in Australia for a year.

 I'm particularly passionate about fantasy, medieval and horror genres.

Some of my favourite games are The Elder Scrolls series, Rune Factory Frontier, Fire Emblem: 3 Houses and Red Dead Redemption 2.

​

One of my biggest passions and inspirations is The Elder Scrolls franchise. I have a great deal of artwork depicting my characters as well as commissioned pieces for clients.
